Flowers delivered monthly

By |September 13th, 2015|

Bought my mum a delivery of flowers every month for a year for her 60th birthday. Really nice gift that keeps giving. You can generally get deliveries for 3 months, 6 months and a year with the price going up accordingly.

Get them a cleaner

By |September 13th, 2015|

As a Wedding gift to my wife I hired a cleaner to visit every two weeks for two hours. I want to be clear – this wasn’t me being sexist or making any comments on how good she is at cleaning! I got this gift so that she can enjoy more spare time and I know how much she likes it when the house is clean. I also enjoyed not having to push the vacuum cleaner round as often!

Sky sports on their mobile/ iphone for a year

This costs £6 a month and makes a really nice present – all you have to do is type Sky mobile into google and the site should come up. You pay for the subscription via credit card so it wont show on the phone bill. Make a note of the login details and tell your gift recipient to download the free app – then all they have to do is login and hello Ashes!

Fresh fruit or vegetable delivery every week

By |June 27th, 2015|

Bought my friends a fresh fruit and veg box every two weeks for 3 months. The produce is seasonal and it is exciting to see what you get each week. You could always extend it if you wanted to pay more and buy it for 6 months or maybe space out the deliveries so that it is every month. They really liked this and bought it for some other friends of theirs.

This is always a great idea and you can tailor it to the person you’re buying for. The cost of a subscription varies – anywhere from £20 – £50 for a yearly subscription. I bought one for my cousin to a Bass Guitar magazine two years ago and she is renewing it for him on his request for the third year now. gift problem solved FOREVER!
