How To Install

Windows

• Download and unzip fhay.zip
• Run setup.exe

• These driver files were created using the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator.
  With this program you can customize your own layouts!

Mac

• Download the fhay.keylayout XML file.
• Copy it to Macintosh HD > Library > Keyboard Layouts.
• Logout and log back in.
• Go to System Preferences > Language & Region > Keyboard Preferences...
• Click the + icon, scroll to "Others", and select "fhay".
• Click "Add".
• Check the box that says "Show Input menu in menu bar.
• You now have a little American flag at the top right of the screen that you can change to "fhay".
• Enjoy the fhay layout!

Linux

• Download the xkb file fhay (there is no extension).
• Copy the file to

  /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols

• Run this command:

  setxkbmap fhay -option caps:backspace

  Note: omit the last part if you don't want the caps lock key to backspace.
• If the above command does not work you can also use:

  sudo loadkeys --verbose fhay

• To recompile layouts after changes:

  sudo rm /var/lib/xkb/*.xkm

*NEW* - Android!

• Warning: I'm not an experienced android developer, and I have only tested this on the Galaxy Nexus. Use at your own risk!
• Navigate to main.apk from your phone and install.
